Week Beginning 8th Feb 2021

Good Morning!

Ms Collins will be continuing 'Wolf Wilder' for you in videos on Monday and Tuesday and Mrs Russon will continue on Wednesday to Friday. Please follow the link to watch the videos.

It is essential you continue to read, practise spellings and recap times tables daily, particularly if you complete the set tasks before 15:00.

Uploading your work to Seesaw is the quickest and easiest way to receive prompt feedback and should ideally be done by 15:30. Work submitted late will be marked the following school day.

Please contact us (using the emails provided previously) if you require any support with passwords for Seesaw and/or Outlook.

Mrs Reynolds is now on maternity leave, so please only contact Ms Collins or Mrs Russon if you have any questions or concerns.

Tuesday 9th February 2021

For today, it looks as though you only have English and Maths, this is because the English slides are linked with your topic, and we expect you to spend around 2 and a half, to 3 hours working on it, as it is made up of 3 steps of your project.

Yesterday the wrong link was on the slides for Weebly, but that has been changed and we have added the correct link to Monday's uploads as well. Apologies if you struggled with that yesterday.

If you still cannot access it today, please email Mrs Keen on keenp001@mastacademy.co.uk as she should be able to help you.

Please do not rush through your work.

We expect good quality work.

Thank you! smiley

Wednesday 10th February

Good morning.

If you continue to struggle with Weebly for Education, please email me or message through Seesaw. We are trying to iron out teething problems as they arise. Your login will be the same as your school email but the password must be made up to 8 characters with #s on the end. If you still cannot get this to work, let me know and I will endeavour to help you.

If all else fails or you can't access Weebly for Education on your device, you can use PowerPoint to make up your website pages or sketch what the site would look like on pieces of A4 paper adding handwritten text. Your website should match the sitemap your drew yesterday. If you get parental permission, you could also try the standard version of Weebly by registering for your own account.

There are a plethora of 'how to' guides on YouTube. Although the content isn't aligned with that of a Spy School, this is a good place to start to learn how to use Weebly if the links on the lesson presentations are not enough.

Good luck!

Thursday 11th February

Good morning St Martha

Thank you all of those of you who are persevering with Weebly for Education. It's having lots of teething problems but we are getting there gradually. I'm in school today so I will be able to speak to Mrs Keen directly to attempt to get login issues sorted for the five of you who have reported that you are still having problems (RW, IR, MK, ES & MO). If you would like help with Weebly, please let me know. You can use any other free website designing tool too of course. I think they're all quite similar.

Please can I ask that you draw your answers to the coordinate questions in maths, take a photo and upload this to fully show your understanding.
