 Key Stage 2 School choir

Our school choir leader is:

Miss Williams: willl1161@mastacademy.co.uk

Our Key Stage 2 choir has been designed to give our All Saints children in Years 3–6 (ages 7–11) the opportunity to develop their musical skills, confidence, and teamwork through singing. It provides a creative and enjoyable way for pupils to explore music, improve vocal technique, and learn about rhythm, pitch, harmony, and performance.

Through regular rehearsals and performances, our choir helps children to build their confidence in expressing themselves and performing in front of others.

We develop teamwork by working collaboratively toward shared musical goals and enhance listening and concentration skills through learning and following musical direction.

It fosters a love of music and the arts, encouraging lifelong engagement.

Finally, it promotes our school community and pride through participation in concerts, assemblies, and wider community events.

In essence, our Key Stage 2 choir nurtures musical talent while supporting personal, social, and emotional growth in a fun and inclusive setting, whilst ARISING and Shining in a creative and exploratory way.

Events

Christmas

Our choir performed in the church at our Christmas service. They chose the hymns they wanted to sing and their song went down well with all of the community in attendance.

Choir club will remain weekly on a Monday and they will often attend short meetings to discuss the production process.

Young Voices 2026

We are booked to attend the Young Voices event in 2026! This will involve our choir singing live at the O2 arena in London. This is such an incredible event, and I hope that all of our choir will be able to attend with us. Preparations are underway to raise funds in support of our trip!

We look forward to other exciting opportunities that may arise in the near future and thank you all for your support.
