This term we have been learning about space, and the Christmas story. 

Space

The children enjoyed their space day, where we had a picnic on the moon. We made telescopes, star biscuits and had our face painted. 

We have explored the planets and what is in space. We have created our own alien which we described. We looked at stars and the moon, and explored what it would be like to live in space. 

Christmas story

The children have watched a Christmas movie for their class reward, they enjoyed coming to school in their pyjamas and had snacks. 

We have learnt about the Nativity, and why Christians celebrate Christmas. We have acted out the Nativity and dressed up as the characters. 

We have learnt songs for our Christingle and made a Christingle. We have written a Christmas list for Santa.
