  • St Andrew

In term 6, St Andrew's class learned about the United States of America in our topic Road Trip USA. We looked at all aspects of culture in the USA including discovery of the USA by Christopher Columbus, significant presidents and individuals and their contributions to society, human and physical features such as the Hoover Dam and Monument Valley, as well as learning about the history and culture of Native Americans. We loved our learning and worked to make it engaging and cross curricular. We have become proficient and independent learners across the year and we even able to stand in front of the class to present our learning to everyone!

Come back at the end of term 6 to see all of our work.

We spent a lot of time working to use our computing and ICT skills to research and present information about significant geographic and historical places in the USA. We worked in pairs to learn about different places in the USA including physical and human aspects of Geography. Two of us impressed our teacher with our presentation skills so much, it just had to be shared!
