Salary: Grade D2 – Salary £18,426 to £21,166 per annum pro rata

8.30am to 3.30pm (half hour for lunch)

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated TA who will develop our newly formed Nurture group setting. The successful candidate will have the necessary skills to provide support for pupils, the teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all by utilising advanced levels of knowledge and skills when assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes. You will be expected to build successful, positive relationships with pupils and maintain a secure, challenging and stimulating learning environment. You will need to be able to work flexibly, showing initiative when necessary.
You will be required to work with small groups and individual children to focus on their specific areas of learning to meet their needs. You will also utilise your specialist SEND knowledge and skills to coach, mentor and support colleagues and contribute to the overall provision of SEND alongside the SEND Lead.
All Saints Church of England Primary School is a very successful School located at the heart of the diverse community of Chatham, Kent. The main school has 315 children on roll from Reception to Year 6 and the nursery has a capacity for 60 more.

In September 2018 we opened our Satellite Nursery provision outside of the school grounds with 60 children on roll. We are a Teachfirst Flagship school and pride ourselves on supporting teachers who are early in their careers.
