Our topic is called 'School Days'

This term we have started to discuss the differences between schooling in the Victorian era and schooling today.  We have written List Poems about life at school today. We have learnt to describe the passage of time through study of past, present and future tense vocabulary.

We have completed our science topic 'Plant Parts' We have learnt that plants are living things that grow from seeds or bulbs. We have revisited the concept of seasonal change, observing how trees and other plants change with the seasons, particularly from winter to spring.  St Patrick have explored where new plants come from and learnt the names of some plants that grow from seeds and bulbs. We have learnt about the parts of leaves and made comparisons. We have grown plants from seeds and  observed how the plant has changed over time.
