This term St Patrick have been enjoying learning about the weather. We have been building our vocabulary and have created wind poems inspired by ‘Have you seen the wind’ by Christina Rossetti.  We have studied the life of Sir Francis Beaufort a significant individual from the past who contributed international achievements. We have learnt about the Beaufort scale and can explain why we think his work was important and how it helps others.  We had fun finding out the which direction the wind was blowing by making windsocks.  We have created weather themed art and compared weather-themed paintings by significant artists.   It has been a fantastic term!
