This term our themes are Me and My Community and Exploring Autumn. We have been very busy making new friends, and settling in. 

We looked at people who help us, focusing on fire fighters and Dentists. We dressed up as fire fighters and sprayed water at painted fire. 

For exploring autumn, we used vegetables to paint with and explored different vegetables that are associated with autumn. We looked at animals that hibernate at the end of autumn, and learnt about the harvest festival. 

We also learnt and explored colour mixing. We carried out the rainbow experiment watching the colours mix from the skittles. We did a walking water experiment watching the water mix on the kitchen towels.
