In St Peter and St Paul our themes were ‘Marvellous Machines’ and Christmas.

We have continued to enjoy exploring our environments, both indoor and outdoor and loved being able to experience the ‘snow’! 

In our classrooms we discovered some very unusual machines, that we were able to investigate and find out what they were.  We enjoyed dismantling them and looking at all the different parts.  We learnt about moving toys and carefully observed the cogs moving.

Christmas is a special time of the year for Christians and we were very lucky to be able to help decorate our classrooms and act out the Nativity story in our role play area.  Lots of art and craft and food making activities took place – YUMMY!

In RE our theme was ‘Incarnation’.

We talked a lot about the Christmas story and enjoyed the opportunity to watch KS1 children perform a Nativity.
