In terms one and two, we studied Ancient Civilisations. Within this topic, we were immersed in an exciting journey, going back in time to explore how people lived thousands of years ago. We discovered incredible inventions, fascinating stories, and the amazing achievements of ancient cultures like Ancient Sumer and Ancient Egypt. We learned about the powerful pharaohs who ruled Egypt and the incredible pyramids built as their tombs.

In art, we designed our own hieroglyphics, while in geography we explored the importance of the River Nile. Through storytelling and drama, we brought ancient myths to life, and in maths, we studied the early number systems used by the Sumerians.

Along the way, we uncovered how these civilizations shaped the world we live in today! It was so exciting to compare the lives of those who lived thousands of years ago to modern day life. We couldn't believe that there were still so many similarities after so much time had passed.
