Term 6 has been a very busy term, the two themes were Build It UP and Let's Explore. We also celebrated culture day and we tried delicious food from around the world. 

In Build it up we explored different buildings and the materials that we can build with. We used a variety of different materials to make our own buildings. we worked as a team to build different buildings. We looked at The three little pigs story and made buildings with sticks, straw and bricks, just like the three little pigs did. We built bridges and explored the story of The three billy goats gruff, we made story maps as well as a group. 

In Let's Explore we looked at maps of Chatham and around the nursery. We found the Nursery on Google maps and created our own maps in a small group. We went for a walk around the nursery grounds to see what we could see.
