St Martha

Hola Mexico

Over the spring term, St Martha have been exploring the rich culture of Mexico. We have been creative, creating our own musical dance pieces inspired by the culture, as well as designing and making our own Day of the Dead masks.

In History and literacy we have explored the Ancient Maya civilisation and created a set of instructions on 'how to play the treacherous Maya Ballgame.' In Maths, we have moved onto geometry and understanding the relationship between 2D and 3D shapes. Across our science learning journey, we have explored the importance of light and how we can explain refraction and reflection. Take a look at our marvellous learning.
