We have had a lot of fun, this term exploring the nursery, and making new friends. Our first theme for this term was Me and My Community. We looked at people who help us, and who is in our family. 

The second theme was exploring autumn. We made pumpkin soup and apple crumble. We explored different autumnal vegetables. The children cut the pumpkins up using a knife very carefully. We experimented like artists by mixing two different colours together. We explored corn flour, painting, walking water, did the skittles experiment and made coloured bath bombs. The children learnt about hibernation and which animals hibernate. We made our own salt dough hedgehogs. We made a nest for our hedgehogs to hibernate in, over winter.
