We have learned about the layers of the ocean, adaptatations, where the oceans are and how important they are and we have even learned about submarines and the physics in how they work.
In writing, we have researched and created fantastic biographies about Jacque Cousteau - a famous french oceanographer. Scroll down to look at our fanastic writing.

How do we damage the ocean?
We have been learning about the environmental impact of humans on the ocean.
We worked together in partners to research the 4 main areas of human impact on the ocean:
- oil spills
- overfishing
- pollution
- tourism.
We discovered information about the effects of these actions and have used it to create information posters.
Here are some pictures of us working hard, researching.

Seascape art.
We learnt about how to create 3D art using a range of textiles and materials. we planned our work in our sketchbooks and then created a piece of art inspired by the ocean on a piece of cardboard. Everyone worked really hard and created something unique and different - it was really fun!
