This term, St Mary have continued with the topic of 'Street Detectives'.  As part of our learning about art, we looked at the work of a local artist, named Brian Ellis. We talked about how his paintings made us feel and then we painted our own versions of the local area. We also spent time investigating maps and looked at how our local area has changed over time. We also looked at aerial views of the area, then drew an aerial plan of our classroom. In literacy, we drew story maps of Little Red Riding Hood then we wrote our own version of Little Red Riding Hood. In RE, we learned about the Easter story and we discussed how such a sad story had a happy ending when Jesus rose from the dead.  We have all worked very hard this term and we learned lots of new things
