Bright Lights, Big City

This term the children have been learning about King Charles III and writing facts about his life. We have investigated London landmarks, finding them on maps and drawing them. We have learnt about about the countries that make up the United Kingdom, including their location, capital cities, flags and some of their physical and human features. We have used positional and directional language to plan routes around London. Finally we have studied the text 'The Town Mouse and Country Mouse' and have compared town life to country life.
